§ 9. Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyreasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the recent report of the Film Finance Corporation, he will make a statement on their request for further funds.
§ Colonel Crosthwaite-EyreIs the President aware that according to the 1983 report of the Film Finance Corporation their moneys will be exhausted by this summer? Is he prepared to see this Corporation, whether one likes it or not, jeopardised? If not, surely he should produce legislation now to see that their moneys do not run out before Parliament has made further provision?
Mr. WilsonThe report was received by me only on 11th April. Surely the hon. and gallant Gentleman will agree that this is a matter of great importance, which requires careful study before I can give an answer.
§ Colonel Crosthwaite-EyreWhen does the right hon. Gentleman expect to be able to give an answer?
