HC Deb 11 April 1951 vol 486 cc1008-9
34. Mr. Emrys Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what further information he has now received from Bermuda on the question of racial discrimination; and what is the nature of his reply to Mrs. Evelyn MacLaurin who forwarded him details of this discrimination.

Mr. J. Griffiths

I cannot reply to Mrs. MacLaurin until I have the Governor's comments on her letter, of which I am sending him a copy. When a reply is sent I will at the same time communicate with my hon. Friend.
