10. Commander Galbraithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what length of time is now being taken by the local authorities to build traditional and non-traditional permanent houses.
§ Mr. T. FraserOn average, traditional houses completed in December, 1949, took 74 weeks to build, and non-traditional, 46 weeks. A similar analysis of houses completed in September, 1950, is in progress and I will inform the hon. and gallant Member of the result whenever it is known.
