§ 57. Brigadier Raynerasked the Minister of Food in view of the inevitable shortage during the coming winter of corn, hay, straw and other home-grown feeding-stuffs, what arrangements he has made to import a sufficient quantity of the surplus stocks of United States maize.
§ Mr. WebbDespite the dollar situation we have recently bought some maize from the United States of America. We must, of course, look for supplies from many different sources and I can assure the hon. and gallant Member that we shall lose no opportunity of supplementing available stocks.
