§ 18. Mr. Douglas Marshallasked the Minister of Food if, in view of the disastrous harvest in Cornwall, he will consider an alteration in the November cereal split, that where the home-grown grain cannot be purchased this percentage of the split can be allotted to imported maize and barley.
§ Mr. F. WilleyWe cannot alter the "cereal split" for November, but if merchants are unable to purchase supplies of home-grown cereals against their buying permits supplies of such cereals are available from Ministry stocks.
