§ Mr. TomlinsonNone. The Burnham Committee have not yet submitted to me their recommendations for the salaries of teachers in primary and secondary schools.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterWhen the right hon. Gentleman receives that report will he bear in mind that in the areas mentioned in the Question those in all other occupations receive London allowance, and that that disparity in the treatment of teachers has now been outstanding a good many years?
