HC Deb 22 May 1950 vol 475 c1635
29. Mr. Black

asked the Minister of Food whether he will arrange to make unsalted margarine available to the public, so that housewives having creammaking machines can have the opportunity of using their margarine ration, in whole or in part, for making cream.

Mr. F. Willey

Unsalted margarine is already available for all retailers who ask for it.

Mr. Black

Is the hon. Gentleman aware that a very large number of consumers are unable to obtain unsalted margarine, and can anything be done to make supplies available for them when they require it?

Mr. Willey

If consumers in the hon. Gentleman's constituency have difficulties, perhaps he will write to me about them.
