§ Mr. F. WilleyUnless there is a special cause such as removal to a new area, once in eight weeks. The housewife gets fresh counterfoils from her Local Food Office and takes them to her new butcher. These arrangements were suspended during the eight weeks before 21st May to reduce pressure on food offices while the new ration books were issued, but this suspension was only temporary.
