HC Deb 11 May 1950 vol 475 c550
24. Mr. Vane

asked the Minister of Health whether the two, three and four bedroomed timber houses now being manufactured in this country at the rate of 32 per week by arrangement with the Victorian Government for the Victoria Railway Commissioners would be satisfactory for erection in this country; and how the cost compares with the present cost in this country of building houses of similar size in brick.

Mr. Bevan

I understand that these structures were designed to meet Australian requirements. I have no information as to the cost.
