asked the Minister of Health if he has now received the award of the Industrial Court upon the salaries of public health nurses; and whether he will make a statement thereon.

I understand that the award is now being considered by the Whitley Council.

73. Mr. Slater

asked the Minister of Health the reason for delay in the implementation of the recent award to nursing assistants in mental hospitals and mental defective colonies.

Hospital authorities are awaiting details of the Whitley Council agreement. These will be circulated shortly.
