asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether the Re-engagement Committee has reported.

No, Sir, but I hope the report will be ready by the end of June.

§ Commander Noble
Will the report be dealt with quickly when it is received because, as the hon. Gentleman knows, men are leaving the Navy every day, after their 12 years' service, when they are urgently required to stay on?

§ Mr. Callaghan
The whole of the Board regards this as a matter of great urgency.
