Sir Ian Fraserasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if the Lords of the Admiralty will direct that the Union Jack be flown on the Sir John Barrow monument on Hoad Hill, 1686 near Ulverston, on the centenary on 15th May, 1950, as they did at the erection of the monument 100 years ago.
