§ 25. Mr. Blackasked the Minister of Fuel and Power when he anticipates being able to publish the regulations to be made governing the payment to local authorities who, prior to nationalisation, were electricity undertakers, of the amounts that they are to receive as compensation for loss on severance out of the sum of £5,000,000 provided for the purpose; and whether he is aware of the great inconvenience being caused to these local authorities through the long delay.
§ Mr. Noel-BakerI hope to publish these regulations very soon, but I am waiting for the views of some of the local authority associations about the proposals made to them for the distribution of the £5 million.
