Mr. DugdaleThe cost of living index for Sierra Leone for the second quarter of 1950 shows a rise of 9 per cent. over the corresponding period in 1945. In Nigeria and the Gold Coast new statistical departments have begun work on indices, starting with the collection of price data, but I am not yet able to give comparative figures.
