§ The Joint Under-Secretary of State for Scotland (Miss Herbison)The Council's grant is the sum by which the cost of then-approved programme of work exceeds their income from other sources. The estimate of their requirements for their current financial year has not yet been received, but the grant for their last financial year will be about £1,950.
