HC Deb 26 July 1950 vol 478 cc463-4
Sir T. Moore

On a point of order. I should like your guidance, Mr. Speaker, upon a matter which concerns my constituency. On Question No. 3 you ruled out of order any further supplementary questions on the ground that the matter had already been dealt with by my right hon. Friend the Member for Southport (Mr. R. S. Hudson). The point raised by my right hon. Friend had not anything to do with Prestwick.

Mr. Speaker

The hon. and gallant Member cannot discuss a Question which has already been passed. Perhaps I did not call the hon. and gallant Member for a supplementary question, and that seems bad luck, but I cannot help that. A great many hon. Members are not called for supplementaries because we have to get on with our business.
