§ 9. Mr. Selwyn Lloydasked the Minister of Education what arrangements have been made in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, for the education and training of sub-normal children.
§ Mr. TomlinsonThe arrangements for educationally sub-normal children in Ellesmere Port form part of the general arrangements made by the Cheshire local education authority for the county as a whole. The majority of the children receive special educational treatment in the ordinary schools, but those who need to be educated in a special school are sent to the authority's residential school at Alderley Edge. The training of ineducable children is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health.
