§ Lieut.-Colonel LiptonHas my right hon. Friend taken any steps to encourage local authorities to terminate this liability on the taxpayer, especially as in a number of cases the owners of this property have either died or long since disappeared?
§ Mr. EdeI am giving this matter earnest consideration, and I hope shortly to bring before the House some proposals for dealing with the kind of situation to which my hon. and gallant Friend has alluded.
