15. Air Commodore Harveyasked the Secretary of State for Air if he will take steps to provide refresher training for pilots, navigators and radio operators who for various reasons are out of practice and whose services would be required in a national emergency.
§ Mr. A. HendersonRefresher training facilities for pilots, navigators and signallers are available at Reserve Flying Schools for all who are prepared to join the R.A.F. Volunteer Reserve. I hope that as many war-time aircrew as possible will avail themselves of this training.
Air Commodore HarveyIs the right hon. and learned Gentleman aware that there are some ex-aircrew who are too old to join the Reserve? Will he give facilities for ex-aircrew people like myself to keep in training in case the need for our services should, unfortunately, arise?
