asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation when it is intended to revise the system of re-issuing permits to fly for certain types of pre-war aircraft, reconstructed aircraft or amateur-built designs, in view of the confusion being experienced in operating the present system and the delays involved.

Mr. Beswick

Without in any way accepting the implications of my hon. Friend's Question, I can say that the procedure for re-issuing permits to fly is under examination.

Mr. Cooper

Can my hon. Friend say how long he expects it will be before a new precedent is followed which will speed up the obtaining of decisions from his Department?
