1. Mr. Osborne

asked the Minister of Works if he is now in a position to grant a licence for the extension of the British Legion headquarters at Laceby near Grimsby.

As I announced last Monday, I can now allow a few small schemes for clubs, and this licence will now be granted.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether he will also now grant a licence in the case of the Darwen British Legion?

No, not without notice, but if the hon. Gentleman will remind me I will look into the matter.
