§ 60. Mr. Jannerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the next Chronological Table and Index of the Statutes is to be issued; to what date this will cover legislation; what will be the charge; and how this price compares with the pre-war price.
§ The Financial Secretary to the Treasury (Mr. Douglas Jay)The next edition of the Chronological Table and Index to the Statutes will be published in the autumn. The Table will be in one volume, priced at a guinea and a half, and will cover legislation to the end of 1949. The Index, in two volumes, will be priced at three guineas, and will cover legislation to the end of 1948 in conformity with the third edition of the Statutes Revised. In the last pre-war edition the Table and Index made two volumes, and the price was 30s.
