§ 9. Mr. Carmichaelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will consider setting up in the large burghs and the counties of Scotland advisory committees consisting of representatives of local authorities, employers and employees, respectively, in the building industry for the purpose of more effective co-operation in the effort to increase the annual provision of houses in Scotland.
§ Mr. T. FraserI am not satisfied that committees of this kind would be an effective means of expediting progress, but I am considering the suggestion.
