§ Mr. StokesThe number of building workmen employed on the construction of the Prudential building on 18th April was 23. The building is required in part for accommodation fo, Government offices. Art the last date for which statistics are available th^re were 1,183 engaged on building council houses and 2,185 engaged on repair and maintenance work, including house repairs.
