Mr. Anthony Nuttingasked the Minister of Health whether he has considered the resolution, a copy of which has been sent him, passed by a recent conference of the Leicestershire and Rutland British Legion Council, urging him to speed up the building programme of council houses, and to relax immediately the recent restrictions imposed on private house building in order to help to reduce the numbers of those already on the waiting list for a council house; and what action he proposes to take.
