§ 36. Mr. A. Fenner Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what legal forms of racial discrimination there are in any of the Colonies.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsIn 1947, Colonial Governments were asked to carry out a factual survey of the extent to which legislation in their territories discriminated between different races, more especially between Europeans and non-Europeans. The surveys have now been broadly completed and the results are now being analysed.
§ Mr. BrockwayCan my right hon. Friend say how soon these results are likely to be made public?
§ Mr. GriffithsIt is hoped that the survey will be completed in June.
