Mr. Alportasked the Minister of Defence whether he has considered the provisions of the Public Law 896 of the United States Congress; and whether he will take steps to institute similar action to compensate ex-prisoners of war who suffered inhuman treatment, in contravention of the Geneva Convention, particularly at the hands of the Japanese.
