I beg to move, in page 8, line 31, at the end, to insert: (3) The Lord Chancellor may pay to any person nominated by him under the last foregoing subsection such fees and allowances as the Lord Chancellor may, with the consent of the Treasury, determine; and any expenses incurred by the Lord Chancellor under this subsection shall be defrayed out of moneys provided by Parliament. This Amendment reinserts in the Bill words proposed in another place, which constitute a matter of Privilege.
