Lieut.-Commander Clark Hutchisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if it is the intention of the Government to introduce legislation in the lifetime of the present Parliament to facilitate the reciprocal enforcement of orders for aliment and maintenance in England and Scotland.
§ Mr. EdeMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I hope that it will be possible to introduce legislation on this subject before long, but I am sorry that I cannot give an undertaking in the sense suggested.
