§ Sir S. CrippsThe capital cost of the houses erected by the Service Departments out of borrowed money under the Bill now before Parliament will be repaid over a period of 60 years. The cost of houses built by the Departments in the past and of houses built in the future outside the new arrangements has been or will be met from Votes of Parliament, and no question of repayment therefore arises.
