asked the Minister of Transport the cost of the widening scheme now completed of the Dumfries to Stranraer trunk road at Glenluce, Wigtownshire.

The improvement works at Glenluce cost £9,979.

Mr. McKie

While thanking the right hon. Gentleman for that information, may I ask whether it is under contemplation to extend this scheme, and if so, will he see that no existing houses are interfered with?

Mr. Barnes

The hon. Member will have to be content with this improvement for the time being.
