I beg to move, in page 4, line 42, after "1933," to insert: and Part V of the London Government Act, 1939. This Amendment merely repairs an omission in the drafting of the Bill. Part V of the London Government Act, of 1939, corresponds in London to Part VII of the Local Government Act, 1933, in the provinces. The provisions of the latter Act relating to appropriations and disposal of land by local authorities have been excluded as not being appropriate here.
