HC Deb 17 November 1949 vol 469 c2179
31. Mr. Molson

asked the Minister of Health why ambulances are not allowed after taking patients to hospital to bring back other patients desirous of returning to the town of departure.

Mr. Bevan

Ambulances by which patients have been brought to hospital are often used on the return journey to take discharged patients home. If the hon. Member has any particular case in mind I shall be glad to look into it if he will let me have details.
