asked the Minister of Supply whether he will publish a table showing the quantities of raw and semi-finished steel respectively, produced in the United Kingdom and imported from abroad during each of the years 1929–48 inclusive; and for the year 1949 the imports and annual rate of production to the latest convenient date.
