HC Deb 03 November 1949 vol 469 c599
57. Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyre

asked the Minister of Agriculture the number of courses held at Northerwood House, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, by the Forestry Commission and the numbers of students attending; and if he will place in the Library a copy of the syllabus of the courses.

Mr. T. Williams

Twenty-eight courses have been held at Northerwood House by the Forestry Commission since December, 1947. The total number of students who have attended these courses is 454. There were also 12 university courses held with the assistance of the Forestry Commission; these were attended by 295 students in all. There is no set syllabus of courses, as the programme for each year varies according to the special needs. A syllabus is prepared for each course, and specimens can be made available to the hon. and gallant Member if he so desires.
