Resolution reported:
That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for giving financial assistance to persons engaged in or desiring to engage in the sea-fishing industry, for regulating the crew accommodation provided in fishing boats, and for other matters, it is expedient to authorise—
- (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament—
- (i) of any sums required by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Secretary of State concerned with the sea-

fishing industry in Scotland for the making of loans, not exceeding in the aggregate ten million pounds, to such persons as aforesaid, in connection with the acquisition, improvement and reconditioning of boats, being loans made within a period not exceeding fifteen years beginning with the date of the passing of the said Act;
- (ii) of expenses incurred by any Minister under the said Act;
- (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any sums received by any Minister by way of interest on any loan made under the said Act or repayment of the principal thereof, or by way of fees paid under the said Act or any regulations made thereunder."
