HC Deb 05 May 1949 vol 464 cc1194-5
25. Mr. Skeffington-Lodge

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the serious situation which will develop in Bedford if the directives issued by the Regional Hospital Board to the Bedford Group Hospital Management Committee are carried out; and whether he will instruct the Regional Board to relax the restrictions it seeks to impose.

Mr. Bevan

I am informed that no such directive has been issued; the position is that the effect of the Board's proposals is now being considered by my Department.
