§ 21. Sir Patrick Hannonasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is now satisfied that complete information relating to the British Industries Fair has been made available at His Majesty's embassies, legations and consulates in all foreign countries and throughout the British Commonwealth.
§ Mr. H. WilsonYes, Sir, I am fully satisfied.
§ Sir P. HannonI am delighted that the President of the Board of Trade has said that, but does he realise the importance of the British Industries Fair to the expansion of our export trade; and is he really satisfied that every possible means of publicity has been employed all over the world to call attention to the Fair?
§ Mr. WilsonDetailed information of this Fair was circulated to all Government posts overseas in September, 1948, and further material has been continuously sent out since then, including 10,000 copies of the advance edition of the catalogues, both for the London and Birmingham sections of the Trade Fair.
