§ 40. Sir R. Aclandasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what steps he is taking to forward the appeal of the representative gathering of Basutoland Chieftains to the United Nations or to make sure that they know of the alternative means by which any grievances which they allege may he considered.
§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerI have not so far received any such appeal from the Chieftains of Basutoland. I think the native authorities in the territory are well aware that any appeals or grievances may be sent to me.
