§ Mr. BevanThe Horncastle Rural District Council have been informed that a grant of £1,100 will be made towards one small water supply scheme. No grant has yet been promised to the Spilsby Rural District Council.
§ Commander MaitlandDoes not the right hon. Gentleman think that it would be of great assistance to local authorities in getting on with the work of supplying water in these outlying rural areas if the local authorities were informed what the grant will be, and will he not see that this is done?
§ Mr. BevanI cannot inform local authorities what the grants will be until we know what the cost will be.
