asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the steps he is taking to bring to the notice of the public on 24th October, United Nations Day, the importance of the United Nations and its achievements up to date.

Mr. McNeil

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister to my hon. Friend the Member for Brentford and Chiswick (Mr. F. Noel-Baker) yesterday.

Mr. Lipson

May I ask whether the right hon. Gentleman proposes to co-operate with the United Nations Association, who hope to get the co-operation of representatives of all political parties?

Mr. McNeil

We are, as we normally are, in contact with the Association. Of course, we will co-operate with them and agree upon the most effective methods.
