asked the Minister of Education on what date he approved the London School Plan.

§ Mr. Tomlinson
The London School Plan has not yet been approved.

§ Mr. Linstead
Does that mean that the steps which the London County Council are taking to build 27 schools for 2,000 pupils each are being taken without the approval of the Minister?

§ Mr. Tomlinson
No. It means that comments have been made on the London School Plan, and that although it has not yet been approved there is no disapproval of the general principles on which they are going to work.
