§ (1) The Minister may, after consultation with the Council of the Isles of Scilly, by order provide for the application of this Act to the Isles of Scilly as if those Isles were a separate county; and any such order may provide for 1268 the application of this Act to those Isles subject to such modifications, or to the exception of such Parts or provisions thereof, as may be specified in the order.
§ (2) The power to make orders conferred by this section shall be exercisable by statutory instrument.—[Mr. Silkin.]
