§ Mr. GaitskellNo, Sir. Regional petroleum officers were authorised to grant special allowances to valuers and surveyors with which to carry out the extra work they were called upon to perform in connection with the preparation and submission of claims under the Town and Country Planning Act.
§ Mr. TurtonIs the Minister aware that I have been writing to him for the last six weks about a part of the country where valuation has been held up through the refusal of his regional officer to grant extra petrol for this work?
§ Mr. GaitskellI can only say that in the cases I am aware of, there has been no refusal of a reasonable claim for extra petrol.
