§ 29. Brigadier Medlicottasked the Minister of Transport what steps he has taken to put into operation those parts of the recommendations of the Committee 17 on Ferries which can be dealt with by administrative as apart from legislative action.
§ Mr. CallaghanNone, Sir, as yet. My right hon. Friend is reviewing the Committee's recommendations as a whole in consultation with his colleagues. He will announce their conclusions as soon as possible.
Mr. McLeodHow soon does "as soon as possible" mean? Might I point out that this Report has been in the hands of the Minister's Department for about a year, and that on the last three occasions when I have put down a Question I have been told that it is under consideration, How soon can we expect to get a decision?
§ Mr. CallaghanIn this case, I think it means in the near future.
