20. Mr. Thomas Macpherson

asked the Minister of Food if, in view of the increasing supplies of bacon now becoming available from home production and European countries, he will arrange for an early increase in the bacon ration.

Mr. Strachey

I shall, of course, increase the bacon ration as soon as stocks and supply prospects allow.
