§ 34. Mr. Platts-Millsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he has now replied to the Polish Note of 8th December, 1948, concerning German revisionist activities in the British-occupied zone of Germany; and if he will publish his reply.
Mr. McNeilA reply was sent on 2nd February. The answer to the second part of the Question is in the negative.
§ Mr. Platts-MillsAs my right hon. Friend is not prepared to publish this answer, would he be good enough to look into the affairs of the "Council for Expellees from the East" which has been set up in the British zone of Germany and licensed by the British Military Government, under which Herr Lukaschek, once Land President of Silesia, seems to be busy trying to foster a movement for the revision of the boundaries in breach of our agreement.
Mr. McNeilI cannot agree that we have violated any of our agreements. My noble Friend will be glad indeed to look at any case about which substantiated detail is given.
