asked the Minister of Health whether he is satisfied that local authorities' building programmes include sufficient provision of one-bedroom dwellings for old people.

This matter is under consideration by my Central Housing Advisory Committee.

Mr. Lindsay

Will the right hon. Gentleman assure us that he will not overlook this matter?

Mr. Bevan

Many of the housing authorities have made provision in this respect.
