§ 15. Mr. Eric Fletcherasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many orders of extradition in respect of alleged war criminals were made against persons detained in the British zone of Germany during 1948; and to which countries they were extradited.
Mr. McNeilNinety applications for the extradition of alleged war criminals were granted between the end of January, 1948, when the present arrangements were introduced, and the end of December, 1948: in consequence persons were extradited to Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Greece, Holland, Norway and Poland.
