§ 6. Mr. Hurdasked the President of the Board of Trade if the Government have now finally disposed of the stocks of Australian wool accumulated during the war.
§ Mr. H. WilsonOf the stocks of 6.8 million bales of Australian wool, five million had been disposed of up to 31st December, 1948, by the United Kingdom-Dominion Wool Disposals Limited, the joint organisation set up for the purpose of the disposal of all accumulated stocks of Dominion wool.
§ Mr. WilsonI could not say without notice. I should want notice to show into what markets the wool was sold. My impression is that a large proportion of it did go for sale for sterling.
